September 11, 2001 impacted so many people in so many ways.  When the towers fell, our founder Mike, knew that he had to do something to help.  As a volunteer firefighter, he spent 3 months helping with the recovery, bringing closure to loved ones throughout the New York area.  While loading his truck to transport supplies that were donated to the World Trade Center site, a handwritten letter fell out of a pair of boots as he picked them up.  He read the letter, which seems to have been written by a child, and was reminded of why he was there and what his purpose was, to bring closure to families that were left waiting and wondering.  This letter was such a touching thank you from a total stranger, and even 20 years later, this letter remains with him even today.  When paying tribute on this 20th Anniversary, we remember all of those who lost their lives, as well as those who stepped up during the wake of this tragic event and were truly angels on earth.
